ENGin's Director Mykola Popadiuk: at the UN Today, a Call for Peace and a Safe Future

Today, on September 29th 2023, a significant moment unfolded at the 78th UN General Assembly. Ukrainian Youth Delegates, Mykola Popadiuk and Kyrylo Demchenko, resonated a powerful message on the Third Committee. Their plea? For the world to remember that as long as the war persists in Ukraine, the dreams of a secure future remain overshadowed.

Mykola isn't just any delegate. He's ENGin's Country Director in Ukraine, an esteemed educator, and a beacon of hope for many. Recognized as a top-ranked teacher in Ukraine, Mykola's dedication goes beyond the classroom. He's at the forefront of the ENGin Program, championing civic education and digital skills for educators. Through various programs and events, he's shaping the next generation of informed, empowered citizens.

The 2023-2024 chapter of this program is being implemented under the USAID/ENGAGE activity, a collaboration between the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation and Pact. While funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the content and direction of the program are steered by Pact and its partners, reflecting their vision and commitment.

We're filled with pride and hope. Mykola, with his unwavering dedication to education, democracy, and youth empowerment, is not just representing Ukraine but supporting ENGin's mission and vision to empower Ukrainian youth worldwide. We're confident that his voice, along with Kyrylo's, will echo the sentiments of countless young souls, urging the world to envision a peaceful, prosperous future for Ukrainians and for all.

The peace terms are easy. Russia withdraw from the Ukraine and answer for war crimes. No other solution is possible
