Communications Lead at ENGin
We are looking for a Communications Lead who will help ENGin’s story reach the people who need to hear it: Ukrainians who do not yet know about the opportunity to practice English with a volunteer, international supporters who want to get involved and support Ukraine, and people who are ready to support our program financially.
What you’ll do
1. Content & Strategy
Together with the Chief Marketing Officer, you will help shape ENGin’s social media communications strategy, manage the content and media plans, and write and adapt content for social media, newsletters, articles, and partner materials. You will also collect information from the team about projects and results, as well as stories and feedback from program participants that can later become public-facing content.
2. Analytics & Website
You will analyze the effectiveness of our communications across social media and the website and prepare regular reports and insights for the team. You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing the ENGin website.
3. Team
You will coordinate the work of our graphic designer, SEO & GEO specialist, article writers, proofreaders, and TikTok specialist. When needed, you may also bring in additional specialists to support specific tasks or projects.
What you’ll bring

English level: B2 or higher.

Experience in communications, marketing, or SMM.

Strong written Ukrainian and English, with the ability to adapt your tone to different formats and audiences.

An understanding of how social media works: what drives reach, engagement, and conversion, and the ability to analyze data and turn it into practical insights.

The ability to manage multiple tasks at once and coordinate the work of others.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage deadlines independently, without reminders.

A willingness to learn new things and take on tasks you may not be familiar with yet.

A basic understanding of SEO and GEO to coordinate specialists and write content for the website and partners.

A basic understanding of design principles to create simple visual materials and provide clear briefs to the designer.

The ability to optimize your work using AI tools.

Openness to feedback.
Nice to have

Experience working with Canva.

Basic video editing skills on a computer or phone (cutting videos, adding subtitles).

Experience working with a Wix website.

Experience working or volunteering in a nonprofit organization.
